June 18, 2015 marks the 8th Anniversary of one of the most infamous tragedies in the history of the fire service - The Sofa Super Store Fire, which took the lives of 9 brave heroes who were doing what firefighters do best - save lives and property. We should all remember those brave heroes with honor, respect, and love for what firefighters do despite the dangers that those heroes (both alive and deceased) face. As a longtime firebuff, it is best to show admiration and respect for firefighters and many other civil servants, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and Souls of those people who died! Never forget 6/18/2007!
