Okay, now this one features "Hard Hat Harry", the genie that shows kids the world of certain vehicles (eg. "Real Life Giant Construction Equipment", "Real Life Train Adventures", just to name a few.) In this one, he is dressed as a firefighter and takes two kids on a magical journey to see what firefighters do. But, I'm not going to tell the whole story, just a short synopsis.
Brief synopsis: Hard Hat Harry takes a boy named Matt and a little girl named Maia on a magical adventure and shows the different types of firefighting vehicles that are used in a fire emergency.
Fun fact: Stock footage (borrowed footage) from "There Goes A Fire Truck" is shown in certain parts of the adventure (a firefighter driving Ontario, California Medic Engine 131 and the helicopter getting water and the part where the "case of things falling from the sky" explanation footage, but with the explanation "it not only protects his head from falling objects, but it protects his neck too.") How do I know? I emailed Dave and asked him how the makers of the video were able to put some of the footage in this non-Dave adventure into this video and he explained that some of his friends who worked on "There Goes A Fire Truck" were also involved in the making of this video. Although Dave's pals worked on this video, it wasn't shot in Ontario, California (although we see a brief cameo of the firefighter driving the fire truck and was the one that showed Dave around Medic-Engine 131, but has a non-speaking appearance in the opening of the adventure) This one was shot in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles City, Los Angeles City, and Ventura County, all of which are in California and some were briefly shown in Boca Raton, Florida.
Now, the truck on the cover is FDNY Engine 23, at that time in the mid 90s it was a Mack CF pump truck.
